A monthly donation of £50 pays for a trained medical professional to attend a hospital anywhere in the country and collect the umbilical cord blood at birth from two children a year. This cord blood is sent to our laboratories where the stem cells are extracted and stored. We store the stem cells on behalf of the mother and child for 25 years, during which time they can be accessed to treat diseases in the immediate family.
