This March is our Donate in Memory month and we’re encouraging people to support our vital research into stem cell therapies by donating in memory of a loved one who has been affected by blood cancer.

There are three main types of cancers of the blood; lymphoma, leukaemia and myeloma, and the most common treatments are chemotherapy, radiotherapy and stem cell transplants.

We specialise in funding potentially life-saving research into leukaemia and myeloma using stem cell therapies.

How can you get involved?

As part of our Donate in Memory month, we have launched our online memorial book in which you can create a profile your loved one and share it with family and friends.

Download a bespoke badge to show you’ve donated this March and share it on your social media platforms to encourage your friends and family to get involved and to join our fight against blood cancer. Don’t forget to tag us on Twitter @LMRUK_org or Facebook/leukaemiamyelomaresearchuk.org.

Ribbons in Memory

Returning for a second year is our ‘Ribbons in Memory’ day on Sunday 29th March 2020 at Chester Memorial Forest, Countess of Chester Country Park.

By donating to our charity during the month of March, you can choose a coloured ribbon to be placed on our memorial tree in Chester on Sunday 29th March. Personalise your ribbon on the memorial tree by adding the name of your loved one who has been affected by blood cancer.

There are lots of ways you can donate to our cause; online, by cheque, fundraising in memory, or collecting donations at a funeral.

With your support, we can protect future generations by beating blood cancer once and for all. Thank you.
